Best Goey Fudgy Brownies

Life is a dessert,.. and mine, is a goey fudgy brownies ! Brownies are the dark brown, soft and at the same time strong pastries with an intense chocolate taste. Honest is fair: this recipe is bad for your diet, but it is also the ideal comfort or the perfect party. Consider yourself a good reason to put this piece of pleasure into the oven. Well we call it a sweet sin!

These goey fudgy brownies are so simple to make but really scrumptious in taste even you can't hold yourself away just for a second. I love these goey fudgy brownies with the crispy crackle top.

So let's start with the ingredients,

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup or 115 grams unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

  • 1/2 cup caster sugar or white granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs, room temperature

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened dutch processed cocoa powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Prep Time: 15 mins

Cook Time: 25 mins

Total Time: 40 mins

Directions:

Preheat oven to 175°C | 350°F.

Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking oil spray. Line with parchment paper (or baking paper); set aside.

Combine melted butter, brown sugar and regular sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well for about 3-4 minute. This step is crucial for the cracky top.

Add the eggs, one at a time and beat until lighter in colour (another minute). Very important step to get a crispy top.

Add in vanilla extract and oil, whisk again for a minute.

Sift in flour, cocoa powder and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until JUST combined (do NOT over beat as doing so well affect the texture of your brownies).

Add in dark chocolate chips and fold in the batter.

Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top out evenly.

Top with chocolate chunks or chocolate chips.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the centre of the brownies in the pan no longer jiggles and is just set to the touch (the brownies will keep baking in the hot pan out of the oven). If testing with a toothpick, the toothpick should come out dirty for fudge-textured brownies.

Remove and allow to cool to room temperature before slicing into 8-10 brownies.

You can serve with vanilla icecream. Also in this recipe you can add walnut or dry nuts.
