Italian Beef Pizza: Wow
Although Eid ul Adha event is over but Meat dishes season is still on! Everyone is trying to cook different and delicious recipes aside from traditional ones. Today I came with a different taste yeah! Its Italian style shredded beef pizza. We definitely love pizza the same way we love biryani in traditional recipesJ. As the event of Eid ul Adha has been came to an end so I have decided to give a taste of meat to this pizza. It’s very tasty and delicious in flavor. I am assured you love this pizza tasteJ.
Not only I used shredded beef in my topping flavor I also changed my pizza dough ingredients this time. I added semolina with plain flour and amazingly it gave the little crunch texture to my pizza crust. It’s optional if you don’t want to add you can just skip it. But for the thin crust lover it will be superb.
Making for One 11 to 13 inches pizza
Ingredients for Dough:
Plain flour 1 cup
Fine Semolina 1 tbsp
Instant dry yeast 1 ½ tsp
Dry milk Powder (optional) 2 tsp
Salt pinch
Melted Butter 5 tsp
Egg 1 medium
Sugar 2 tsp
Water required for kneading
Note: In my recipe I used instant yeast so there is no need of warm water and to be raised. You can use water at room temperature. And allow the dough raise normally. Must knead your dough soft otherwise it will hard your pizza crust. Cover your dough and put it at warm place to be raised. You can place it in your oven. Otherwise in this hot weather you can put it on the slab in the kitchen.
Ingredients for Tomato Sauce:
Tomatoes 2
Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
Onion chopped small 1
Gringer garlic powder 1 tsp
Oregano 1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
White pepper 1 tsp
Sugar 1 ½ tsp
Chilli sauce 1 tsp
Soya sauce 1 tspp
Oil 1 tbsp
Method:
Sauté onion in the oil and blend all ingredients with the food processor. Then evaporate the moisture from the blended mixture on stove. Turn off the flame when the thick consistency of the tomato sauce will be formed. Put aside.
Shredded Beef Ingredients:
Beef Meat small and thin slices ½ kg
Salt as per taste
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Whole spices powder 1 tbsp
Raw papaya or meat tenderizer 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic powder 1 ½ tsp
Oil for cooking
Method:
Marinate the beef for at least 4 hours. Add oil in a wok and put marinated beef in it. Cover the lid and lower the flame until all the water evaporates. Now fry the beef a little. I didn’t add additional water in it because the beef pieces are very thin. Let it cool. Then shred the beef in the food processor or blender.
Topping:
For the topping you can go for your own choices. I picked mushrooms, Onion, Black olives, Baby Corns and yeah Mozzarella cheese.
Assembling:
Preheat the oven at the maximum heat for at least one hour.
When your pizza dough will rise, again deflate the dough by kneading it. Make a crust by using hands or you can use rolling pin for the ease.
Place it into the baking tray. Set aside for 15 minutes. Apply tomato sauce on the dough and then mozzarella cheese. I added the layer of cheese here this way cheese will not be hardened and will not lose its moisture. Then add shredded beef and topping of your own choice. Bake it at high for at least 15 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown from the bottom. The time may vary according to your oven. If you love more cheese add little mozzarella cheese at the top and bake for more few minutes.
Your delicious yummy Italian beef pizza is ready to serve. Wowww its yummy!
