Balti Lamb Chops

A balti Lamb Chops is a type of curry served in a thin, pressed-steel wok called a "balti bowl" It is served in restaurants throughout the Pakistan, India. The name may have come from the metal dish in which the curry is cooked, rather than from any specific ingredient or cooking technique. Balti curries are cooked quickly over high heat in the manner of a stir-fry. Balti gosht is eaten in Pakistan and northwestern India as well as other parts of the world, such as Great Britain.
Ingredients:
Lamb Chops ½ kg
Slat 1-1/2 tsp (as per taste)
Black Pepper 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tsp
Oil ½ cup
Tomatoes 5
Green chilly 3-4
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Lemon 2 -3 tbsp
1 bay leaf
1 tsp whole spices powder (Gram masala)
2 tbsp natural (plain) yogurt
1 tsp chili powder (optional)
Directions:
[if !supportLists]1. [endif]Heat oil in a skillet pan. Lower the heat slightly and fry the chops until they are cooked through. Add salt, black pepper, bay leaf, ginger garlic paste.
Fry the chops this will take about 10-12 minutes.
[if !supportLists]2. Add tomatoes and yogurt in the chops. At this time add ½ cup water also cover the skillet with lid and cooked the chops at medium flame.
[if !supportLists]3. When the water will evaporate then add lemon juice, green chili, cumin, coriander powder and whole spices powder. Lower the heat. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
